Who we are
We are the youth and young adult ministry at Paradise Baptist Church. Our goal is to help train up a child in the ways of the Lord. So as they get older they won’t depart from him. Proverbs 22:6 We are able to obtain this goal by living and teaching these critical but simplistic beliefs to our youth and young adults.
Royalty critical beliefs
We believe all young people are made in the image of God. -isaiah 43:7b
As Image Bearers, whatever God want’s for them, is what he wants for his children. Children are not too young to display a Godly image in the world. Showing are young the pleasures and joy of being image bearers early can foster authentic Godly living.
we Believe that it is the responsibility of the church to nurture and disciple young people. Proverbs 22:6
Why wait until the children get old to develop and encourage growth in Christ? No other institution waits to develop their pupil, why should the church. Dedicating time and resources to our youth and young adults is the key to fostering authentic disciples. Young people that are eager to follow Christ.
we Believe that youth are gifted to contribute to the local church. 1 Timothy 4:12
Showing young people they have a place in the church and in the kingdom of God is important and needed. A lot of our young people today lack identity and self-want. Having a safe place to be apart of, can help aid in those identity problems.
